That's unbelievable! The surgeons sure did a good job putting master's face back together Did master have a funeral for the poor car?
The initial restorative surgery (maxillo-facial) was done by a doctor that got his training in a MASH unit in the Korean "conflict". He must have gotten a lot of practice. The word got out to avid racers in the area and the engine(undamaged)went for a premium price.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Wow...though I am thrilled both your Master and Gordie lived...it is difficult to wrap my mind around the odd...when I look at the car. For the hit and run driver all I can say is bless you...because Karma can be Be-atch, in her relentless pursuit of teaching life lessons for those who dare to think they can run.
It makes me happy the engine was reinCARnated
